Job's Tears beads are actually a seed that grows wild in southeast Asia. They are harvested and used for nutrition purposes and to make jewelry. The outside of the seed is incredibly smooth.  This trait makes the seed perfect for rosaries and malas. Named in memory of all the tears Job cried in the Old Testament.
